Friday's Find

Found this little fellow at Go Kat Go one (rare) night while Jeremiah and I were out. I just had to have him. He is adorable. You can put a candle inside too.

While big brother is away...

Angus plays with Jonas' fishing pole. He was doing exactly what big brother does with his fishing pole. He was trying to cast it and reel it in, but couldn't quite do it right.

Away no more

Jeremiah came back from a long trip a few days ago and boy are we glad he is back. We all miss him every time he has to go. The boys can't get enough of him when he comes back. Jonas asks practically every morning, "Is it your day off today Dad?"

When he answers, "Yes," I can see how happy Jonas gets because it means he gets to do all the fun things mom just can't do with him. All the fun Dad things.

He took us out for breakfast to A.J.'s before work the other morning. We walked while Jonas rode his bike. We got our favorite things: cream cheese croissants, an omelette with potatoes and cantaloupe on the side and a mocha latte for moi. Yum!

We sat and ate then walked back home, but when we got home, we had to say goodbye to Dad. "Don't go to work," says Jonas. He had to:( The house gets quiet and it always feels like somethings missing when he leaves. I don't think he knows it.

Raccoon hats for all

We stopped at Cabela's today.  Jonas wanted to take grandpa to look at all the (poor) animals.  I put raccoon hats on the boys.  Angus didn't like it, but Jonas did.
On the way over Jonas asked us when the world was going to end.  What a big question for such a little man.
After Cabela's we went to get some burgers and Angus was offering his big brother some of his mushy burger, but Jonas said, "Eww, gross, Angus.  I can't eat that."

Feliz Cumpleanos a Ti!

We celebrated my mom's birthday the other day.

It was a small, very small celebration, but Jonas and I picked out some SB cupcakes and had her blow out her 8 year old candle.  Although, Jonas wasn't letting her blow them out.

I said, "Just let grandma blow it out for the picture," but these two were being too funny.

Love you mom!

'Copa County Fair '10

We just had to go to the Copa County Fair, as Jonas calls it, yesterday.  Ate lots of junk food, Jeremiah and Jonas rode on on the train ride, won two prizes, one was spongebob, can't go anywhere without spongebob being in the picture, looked at the animals and ate more junk!

Angus really liked the Indian Fry bread with honey, but he wasn't sure about cotton candy.  Jonas really liked drinking ALL the lemonade and liked playing games.  Jeremiah got the burps when he watched some of the very twisty, spinny, fast rides and he reminisced about being in 4H. I enjoyed the foot massage chair and looking at the crafts.

Good times!

Forever Young

May God bless and keep you always,
May your wishes all come true,
May you always do for others
And let others do for you.

May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

May you grow up to be righteous,
May you grow up to be true,
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you.

May you always be courageous,
Stand upright and be strong,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

May your hands always be busy,
May your feet always be swift,
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift.

May your heart always be joyful,
May your song always be sung,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

Busy

Motherhood - I would never trade this job for anything in the world.

These two move me every day-spiritually, emotionally, physically, mentally...

I try my hardest to be the best mom for them, but never feel like I do enough.

I guess I just have to keep doing my best and see how they turn out when they grow up to be young men.
